A native of the Salinas Valley, Angie received a food safety certificate from the Agricultural Business and Technology Institute at Hartnell College. She began her career in produce food safety at Markon cooperative, over ten years ago, focusing on supplier food safety programs at the postharvest level in a variety of product categories across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. She is a member of the Center for Produce Safety technical committee and currently holds the title of Manager of Food Safety & Organic Compliance at Triangle Farms and JV Farms Organic in Salinas, CA.
