Richard Warsaw, Director of Food Safety and Quality, GreenGate Fresh LLP 

Richard Warsaw is the Director of Food Safety & Quality at GreenGate Fresh, LLLP - an integrated grower/shipper focused on providing high-quality fresh-cut vegetables to the foodservice industry.  GreenGate is part of a larger farming organization, Barkley Ag Enterprises, a fifth-generation farming operation in the desert southwest growing primarily durum wheat and leafy greens.  Richard oversees the food safety and quality operations from field to fork, helping to develop safer growing practices, processing operations, and facility management, as well as working with customers to drive profitability through quality supply chain management and technical services.  Richard received his Bachelor’s in General Biology with a focus in Microbiology from Humboldt State University in Northern California and Master’s in Business Administration from University of Arizona Eller College of Management in 2019.  Richard previously worked with IEH Laboratories directing the labs that travel with the leafy greens season, splitting his time between field food safety projects, consulting projects, and managing the laboratories.
