The Hartnell College Foundation is an independent, non-profit corporation organized by community-spirited citizens in 1979 to benefit the Hartnell Community College District. The Foundation plays an integral role in supporting the students, faculty, staff, and programs of Hartnell College by garnering corporate, foundation, and private support for the college.

The Western Food Safety Conference is an annual two-day convening, designed especially for you, our food safety industry leaders! The conference will provide you with current produce safety information, research, and regulatory developments in the fresh produce industry that you can apply to today's environment.  


Join us and industry-leading scientists, executives, and professionals for the latest science-based industry information and networking opportunities. 

Call for Speakers – 2027 Western Food Safety Conference

We are now accepting speaker proposals for the 2027 Western Food Safety Conference, taking place May 5–6 in beautiful Salinas, California. 


The deadline to submit a proposal is November 1, 2026.
